For subscriptions, each month you will receive a new box exploring a different place in time, according to the era you selected. For single boxes or a complete curriculum, everything arrives at once for you to use when you are ready. Each box contains:

Youth
Our Youth option gives educators and learners an opportunity to customize their learning. Younger students can explore the materials with the help of an educator, while teens can complete the projects mostly independently. The magazine begins with an overview of the topic written in simple, kid-friendly language that focuses on the big ideas. The difficulty of the text progresses with a time travel letter for older elementary students and historical content written at a middle-school reading level. Besides craft materials, recipes, a comic, coloring page, and souvenirs, our full-color magazine helps give educators the background they need to teach this history lesson in a box. Our Youth box is appropriate for elementary, middle, and early high school students.
Young Adult
History is rarely simple. The Young Adult edition invites older students to explore the complexities, controversies, and competing perspectives that have shaped our world.
Designed for high school students and adults, each box combines immersive hands-on projects with rigorous academic content, including advanced historical reading, primary source analysis, discussion questions, and extension activities. Rather than memorizing dates and names, students are encouraged to evaluate evidence, consider multiple viewpoints, and develop a deeper understanding of how history continues to influence the present.
The Young Adult edition includes everything in the Youth box, plus an exclusive Young Adult magazine featuring expanded historical content, deeper analysis, and age-appropriate discussion of mature topics.
